Cascia Communications

News Bulletin
Please read your news bulletins from the school, as this is the primary way of communicating important school-wide and class-specific information to parents.  Parents will receive an email with links to news items every Tuesday and Friday during the school year.  A link to the Bulletins can also be found on our website home page at the top of the blue banner. All news items are also available on the CH App under School Bulletin.

A link to the school calendar can be found on the website home page at the top of the blue banner.  To limit the events that appear, click Customize Your Calendar, select specific Categories, and Apply.  On the Wall Calendar, hover over specific entries for additional information if available.

Follow the Athletics tab on the home page for specific athletic schedules by choosing the appropriate schedule on the left. Athletic events are also posted on the website main calendar and can be found on the CH App under Events or Athletics.

Faculty/staff email addresses follow this format: first initial, last (  See the front of the Student Directory for a complete listing of names and offices.

A printed copy can be pre-ordered each September from the ONLINE Commando Store for $10 (follow the link on the CH home page). The Student Directory is also available on the CH App (under “Directory”); log in with NetClassroom credentials. The Directory is updated each school year with current student/parent information and is available online and in print before the end of September.

The Cascia Hall App is available free of charge from the Apple App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). All feeds from the website, and much more, can be easily accessed; here are some of the links available through the CH App:

  • News and announcements under School Bulletin
  • Calendar items under Events
  • Previous Twitter messages under Twitter
  • Sports schedules under Athletics
  • Net Classroom sign in page under Logins or Grades
  • Videos and photographs

This page is used to inform followers about accomplishments and events and to share pictures and videos. It is NOT the primary means of making announcements of a calendar nature.

Cascia Hall maintains three Twitter accounts.

  • @CasciaHallPrep - This is the official parent account for announcements that are primarily reminders of news previously disseminated through other channels.
  • @CH_StudentBody - This is the official student body account for announcements to students (and interested parents). It is used primarily to send out reminders of news previously announced to students during school hours. It is also used to recognize individual and group achievements.
  • @Cascia_Alumni - This account is the official Cascia Hall Alumni Association account used by the school to make announcements to alumni.

All three accounts can be followed by anyone; permission to follow is not restricted. The administrator of these accounts may tag an individual account when appropriate unless a request of “no public recognition” is on file in the school office. Twitter announcements can be followed one of two ways:

  1. The Twitter App can be downloaded and used on smartphones or on personal computers, and an individual can choose to follow one or more of our accounts. Our tweets will then appear in your Twitter account timelines, which then must be read and followed through the Twitter App.
  2. It is possible to receive our Tweets (or Tweets from any Twitter account) via texts. Text this message to 40404:  Follow CasciaHallPrep.  Substitute CH_StudentBody to receive student body Tweets via texts.

This site is used by faculty to post grades and report cards. A link to NetClassroom can be found on the website under Parents or Students. Classroom assignments, due dates, and missing work are reported here.  Login credentials for NetClassroom are provided to new families in August.

Google Classroom
Teachers use Google Classroom to post detailed information regarding assignments, syllabi, and calendars.  It is accessed via the student’s Google account. Parents are encouraged to obtain their student’s Google Classroom login credentials and review this information regularly.
