Ella Newhouse '24 named as 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholar

Ella Newhouse '24 was named a 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholar by the United States Department of Education! Each year, up to 161 students are named as Presidential Scholars, one of the nation's highest honors for high school students. Ella is one of two Presidential Scholars from the state of Oklahoma. 

 

Her selection as a U.S. Presidential Scholar was from a group of highly accomplished and qualified semifinalists is based on scholastic achievement, artistic excellence, career preparation, demonstrated leadership ability, community service, strong character and commitment to high ideals.
