This course is designed to cater to students at various levels, from beginners learning proper hand placement and keyboarding techniques to high school students seeking to improve their typing speed and accuracy.

Learn basic knitting skills while exploring fun, hands-on activities that spark your imagination. Each day includes activities and techniques that reduce stress and anxiety such as yoga and mindful breathing. We’ll also dive into practical tips for reducing stress and boosting your confidence and keeping your mind and body in tip-top shape through interactive discussions and games.  Join a new crew for four days of fun, creativity, and calm—because summer is the perfect time to learn how to knit, stretch, and unwind!

In order for your student to be optimally prepared for the ninth-grade English course at Cascia, your student may wish to attend this summer’s English enrichment session on weekdays from July 28 - August 7.  (The group WILL NOT meet on Friday, August 1.) The early focus in the course is on the review of the basics, including parts of speech and basic sentences, but we move into practicing writing paragraphs and longer pieces with sentences that include the more advanced structures (participial phrases, relative clauses, semicolons, etc.).  We will work with the summer reading novel and assignments to encourage comprehension.
