Service Opportunity Revitalize T-Town
Revitalize T-Town (formerly and very recently Rebuilding Together Tulsa) have repaired owner-occupied homes in Tulsa whose owners qualify financially for the help--making the homes safe, secure, weatherproof, and accessible.
RTT does wheelchair ramps, roofs, wood rot, painting, etc., and this fall, they are the beneficiary of funds from the Home Builders Association fundraiser. What RTT is doing to earn those funds is get volunteers to take tickets at the Home Remodeling Showcase, September 15-16. There are three different shifts: Saturday 10a-2p, Saturday 2-6p, and Sunday 12-5p. Volunteers have to be 16 with a parent/adult, and adults without kids are welcome too.
